High hopes for the Apple iPhone

Anyone who knows what ‘midi’ is, will know that since the end of the Atari ST, the Apple Mac was for many years the ‘musicians computer of choice’. I switched to Apple around 1991 and have enjoyed several Apple products since.
For example, my Apple Newton, (now proudly displayed in a small technology museum at a Virtual Business School in Beaconsfield!) had an interface, and set of features which I find both sad, and surprising that no PDA since has managed to come close to! I am therefore really looking forward to the Apple iPhone.
If you have any affinity with the Apple story, and enjoy well written articles, then I recommend you take a few minutes to read the article titled ‘The third act’ in this weeks Economist.
