Unintentional learning

I was scanning through the book reviews on Daragh O Brien's blog and came across a book titled Trademark2.0 by R. Todd Stephens. For reasons I cover in a separate blog, I found this interesting enough to visit the ‘Professional Profile Site’ of Mr Stephens.
For even more reasons that again I'll cover separately, I had a look at his blog and stumbled across a post on Dan Pink’s latest book on career advice. The post has an embedded slideshow hosted on slideshare and as I am personally at one of ‘those’ career junctions, I had a look at the presentation.
The presentation (created by Garr Reynolds) is probably one of the best slide shows I have seen in years, if not ever! – I’d recommend everyone takes five mins to go through this presentation – Not only is it a great piece of work, it provides a great perspective which most, if not all would benefit from!
I then ordered Trademark2.0 on Amazon, set up an account with slideshare for sharing my own work, and learning from my pile of unread books, once I have read TM2.0 I will splash out on Dan’s book. And I've made a mental note to go and have a look over Garr's website and blog to see what 'newlearning' (the name of my old Ltd company) I can find!
All in all, truly wonderful and unintentional learning process…
